Every year, API/AAPI Heritage Month is celebrated through the month of May. And every year, “PI” or Pacific Islander voices are minimized or completely left out. This year, we’re spotlighting and uplifting the work of some amazing Indigenous Pasifika women. Join us on May 11 for our New Moon webinar to learn more about the work happening through our Indigenous Pasifika cousins. Our featured guests are Ann Singeo of Ebiil Society (Palau) and Moñeka De Oro of Micronesian Climate Change Alliance (Guam). These strong Micronesian women will be discussing climate justice in Pasifika and the roles of women in climate/conservation work. Be sure to tune in to learn more about how we’re all fighting the same fight on different fronts when it comes to climate justice, patriarchy, social justice, and decolonization.
