URGENT ACTION ALERT!!!
Stop the proposed radioactive waste dump at Ward Valley! Contact Governor
Gray Davis NOW!!!
Governor Gray Davis has the power to withdraw the State of California's land
application for Ward Valley, the lawsuit that was filed against Department
of Interior to transfer the land and stop this project once and for all!!
Time is of the essence, because a federal court could rule any day in favor
of the dump, unless Governor Davis does the right thing and withdraws the
State's pro-dump lawsuit (filed during Pete Wilson's administration) and
withdraws the State's land application. Despite campaign pledges to protect
our health and environment, Governor Davis has, so far, failed to take
action to stop this project.
Governor Davis MUST hear from as many people as possible-now!! Please call,
write, fax, and/or e-mail today!! NOTE: If you e-mail Gov. Davis please
follow up with a letter or fax.
