At the United Nations Earth Summit Rio+20, Indigenous Peoples from throughout the world converged at Kari-Oca village to articulate their issues and demands to world leaders gathered for the UNCSD Rio+20. On Thursday, June 21, 2012, representatives presented the Kari-Oca II Declaration to a representative of the Government of Brazil.
