National Khoi-San Consultative Conference (NKOK) Coordinating Committee for the International Indigenous Peoples' Pre-Summit in South Africa, 2002The Secretary, c/o Barendse Griqua House, P.O.Box 547, Vryburg, 8601, SA, Tel: 053 927 3957, Fax: 053 927 6925, email: barendsegriqua@telkomsa.netDear All FLIGHT INFORMATION The official starting date of the Pre-Summit will be on the 20th August 2002. We therefore urge all delegates to arrive at the Johannesburg International Airport on the 19Th August 2002 preferably during the morning, especially for those who have to travel by bus. To enable us to make all the necessary arrangements in due time and to make full use of the four days at our disposal we urgently request the following information:
The weather in Kimberley is warm (about 20 degrees Celsius during the day and drops at night to almost 0 degrees Celsius). It’s the start of the spring rainy season, but due to climatic changes this is unpredictable. There are no malaria hazards in this area and drinking water is clean and reliable and bottled water will be available. Attached please find a registration form to be completed by each delegate and returned to us no later than Wednesday 31st July 2002. This would enable us to send invitation letters directly to the delegates for visa applications. Registration forms and information for the Global Peoples’ Forum is available on www.worldsummit.org.za Please let us know if there are any delegates who do not have access to the website so that we can forward the necessary information to them. Your prompt response will be highly appreciated. Warm Friendly Khoi-San African Greetings Priscilla deWet-Fox __________________________________ Priscilla deWet-Fox |
